Looking for a car for your father or grandfather? There are hundreds of vehicles in the market but which one is the best for senior drivers?

To make sure that your loved ones are safe and secure on the road, here are the top vehicles for senior citizens:

Chrysler Town and Country - The Town and Country was introduced in 1989 (as a 1990 model) alongside the Plymouth Voyager and Dodge Caravan. It features more amenities than either and is built on a long wheelbase (LWB) version of the same Chrysler S platform.

Ford Taurus - Originally introduced in the 1986 model year, this car has remained in near continuous production for more than two decades, making it the fourth oldest nameplate that is currently sold in the Ford lineup

Pontiac Vibe - This is a compact hatchback car produced in Fremont, California by NUMMI (New United Motor Manufacturing Inc), a joint venture between General Motors and Toyota, and marketed under General Motors' Pontiac brand.

Mercury Sable - This is a mid-size (1986-2005) and full-size (2007-2009) luxury sedan created by the Ford Motor Company and sold under the Mercury brand. It is a rebadged variant of the Ford Taurus.

Lincoln Town Car - This is a full-size, rear-wheel drive luxury sedan sold by Ford's upscale Lincoln brand. The Town Car features a V8 engine and large exterior and interior dimensions.

Honda Odyssey - Known in Europe as the Honda Shuttle, this is a minivan or "large MPV" produced by the Japanese automaker Honda since 1994.

Jeep Commander - This mid-sized SUV was introduced in 2006. It is the seven-passenger counterpart of the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Chevrolet Tahoe - This (and the very similar GMC Yukon) is a full-size SUV from General Motors.

Chrysler 300 - This is a full-size car. Many vehicles use this name, starting in 1955 and continuing to this day.

Lincoln MKX - The Lincoln MKX is a mid-sized luxury crossover (CUV) from Ford's Lincoln division and a de facto successor to the Lincoln Aviator luxury SUV.

If you are seriously considering buying a vehicle for a senior citizen, don't start your search unless you've looked at these vehicles.
