New Mexico Art Faire

There will be an Artfaire on April 18 and April 19, 2009 at Modern Downtown Convention Center, 912 N. Main St, Roswell, NM 88201. The fair on April 18 will start from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and for April 19 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Vendors are allowed to set up there booth on April 17 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. and then on April 18 from 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.

The Artfaire is an indoor and non-juried craft show that has been held for the last 21 years. For the past years the promoters did not have to cancel or change the dates of the Artfaire so there is not reason to worry if the Artfaire will proceed as planned this year. Before the attendees of the show was about 2, 00 to 4,000 attendees and for this year the promoters expect about the same amount of attendees.

$1.00 is the admission fee for the Artfaire. The space fee for the vendors who plans to attend the Artfaire is $125 10x10 and $250 10x20. For this year there will be one food vendor and will not need to pay for the space fee. The vendor will just provide food for the promotion staff. All types of hand made crafts are welcome by the promoter.

Parking spaces are free for all vendors and visitor. There will be enough space for every one. For the vendors their parking area will be across the street and for the RV they will not be allowed to park onsite. Tables, chairs and electricity will be provided by the promoters but the water will not be allowed at the exhibit hall.

Vendors do not need to worry about the promotion of the Artfaire because the promoter will advertise by putting ads in the local and national newspaper, TV ads, radio broadcasting, posers and signboards. The Artfaire has crated an image of being a well attended craft show.
